A day at the zoo...

We went with my mom to the Rosamond Griffith Zoo. It is a small zoo but it is very nice and we all had a great time.

We got to see the elephant presentation, and we all got to pet the elephant after the show. It was very cool and Liam has been talking about it constantly. He has been telling everyone how he got to pet a real elephant.

The domestic animal exhibit had a place where the kids could practice milking goats and cows. The boys, of course, had to try that out.








Our favorite exhibit was the penguins. We also like watching the flamingos and peacocks. I loved the tortoise and the spoonbill in the bird exhibit. We liked watching the Lemurs and the Meercats. Skyler loved the Fossa and when we visited the gift shop had to get a book to learn all about them. We added more squished pennies to our collection. We had a great time with mom.











We thought of Kent when we saw the tarantulas. Knowing how much he loves spiders, we decided to share a photo of one for him here.
